AC Combiner box question

Good afternoon,

I am researching stacking 3 15k Solark all in one units. When I look at the wiring diagram it calls for an AC combiner box both for the AC Input and AC Output.

15k solark manual - page 53

It appears as though the AC combiner box is simply a main lug panel.

For AC in, it looks like AC power feeds the main lugs and then breakers would be used to feed the AC inputs on the solark.
For AC out, it looks like power from the solark feeds breakers on a main lug panel and the main lugs are used to feed a MBP.

Am I understanding the diagram correctly? Will any main lug panel work as an AC combiner box (assuming correct amp size)?

Thank you for your assistance.

Yes.

I Think you can also use a subpannel box (with no main breaker) as long as one end of the load(path) box has a main breaker.

I put together a quick visio (quick and dirty) - but this is one sol-ark.... I would think you can stack them across as necessary, I think this is correct... standard wiring, with bypass: any thoughts?solark-5566.JPG
