Anker SOLIX F3800
$2800
3800kWh
nice complete package

EG4 6000k + LifePower4
$1400 + 1150 = $2550
plus misc cables and hand truck
5000kWh

personal requirements
- expandable with 48v server batteries in the future
- rechargeable with propane gas generator
- can charge electric car via 240v
- off-grid uses

questions
- what is the better buy?
- does both meet my requirements?
- what's the budget friendly build if I buy the F3800 and want to expand the battery?
- do I need the EG4 Chargeverter if I'm charging either with a propane generator?
- what are my requirements when shopping for a propane generator?
- what are my recommended requirements when shopping for solar panels for either setup?
- does both option qualify for the 30% tax credit?

thank you for reading and advising

this guy answered most of my question, but I still would like to you know thoughts, especially about the propane questions

I am considering the exact same setup. If you get an inverter generator that is already set up for propane, you should not need the chargeverter. If it is not an inverter generator, you will definitely need the chargeverter. The predator 5000 gen is a good option. I have heard some good things about champion generators, and the make many dual fuel models in the 3500+ watt range. I am starting with the f3800 and already have 6 life power server batteries. That will provide a mighty long runtime when hooked up thru the solar ports.
