Are my charge controller settings correct?

I'm not sure I'm understanding the different levels of charge controllers. I'm starting out small, with just a few 100w panels, Victron 75/15 charger controller and one 12v LIFEPO4 battery. This is being used to run a couple of ham/gmrs radios, on 12-15v, so I'm not using an inverter at this time.
The battery never seems to go above the Float setting (13.6) Shouldn't it charge up to the Absorption setting? (14.6)? I set this up with what I think are the recommended settingsScreenshot_20240727_094055.jpgScreenshot_20240726_200051.jpg

Just use the victron preset in the mppt ?
That works just fine .
Wy manuel adjust ?

If you need to adjust for cell balance.
You do that with float charge on 13.8 volts

Not sure why I didn't try that. I just selected that and now it's charging up to the Absorption setting. I don't see what'sdifferent though. Thanks

The difference is that the absorbtion volts, 14.2, and the float volts, 13.5, are more ideal for charging lithium.

Once the charger has 'seen ' that the battery has reached absorbtion volts for the absorbtion perion, it will drop to float volts. Only when the voltage falls 0.1 volt below float , (re bulk offset), will the charger aim for the absorbtion volts in the bulk stage of charging.
The absorbtion volts is a target voltage, over most of the bulk stage the battery volts will be 13.6 +/-0.1. Once the voltage exceeds 14.0 volts, consider fully charged.
