Battery Disconnect Switch or Circuit Breaker

Hello Mobile Solar Power DIY-ers,

I have built a system using Will Prowse's
400 Watt Solar Package w/ Alternator Charging
and it is working fine.

Now I want to install a battery disconnect switch. I did some research and found many battery disconnect switches on Amazon including Blue Sea Systems but all of them are physically too big, 3 inches tall!

I want something with a lower profile. So I am thinking of using a circuit breaker with on/off switch like I have between my solar panels and the Renogy DCC50S charge controller.

I have two 100 AH Battleborn batteries connected in parallel. If I use a circuit breaker with on/off switch, what size should I use?

What is the expected ampere use of your system? ie; Size the breaker to the maximum amperage expected or the ampacity of the cables you have. Be sure to use a quality CB not the cheapest you found on line.
