Charging and drawing from same lead

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is it ok to run an inverter and charge a battery using the same lead to the BMS and battery with a splitter?

If you mean this:



No problem.

If the inverter is using power, the charger will only charge the battery with what the inverter isn't using.

Your lead to the Inverter should be bolted to the battery and the lead to the SCC should be bolted to the battery. You can use a bus bar for this purpose so you have more places to bolt everything down.


I am not sure what you mean by splitter? Do you mean a bus bar? or something else.
