I have an older 24v 6 kw Sigineer inverter not in use. I am thinking of running a generator to this inverter to charge the EG4 batteries. I have briefly researched and found that there are dc to dc step-up converters that could convert output from 24v to the 53v needed, but many were limited to 1000W output. Are there any other practical solutions for converting 24v to 48v at 3000-5000 watts

replaced the 1st one as it wouldn't stay on consistently, 2nd one worked for about 3 hours. seems like it shorts easily. or it dislodges and comes unsnapped inside. looking for a more reliable option. if there are 4 cloudy days in a row, i need to know i have a charger that will operate

Okay got the chargeverter running again. It was not dislodged. The plug I made was faulty. After I redid the plug everything working fine. User error, my apologies to Signature Solar. and they were very helpful in getting the 1st one replaced.
