Doesn’t seem like a very talked about subject based on searches. I just picked up and old 36v ez-go and the batteries are done for. Since I’ve already dove in the diy lifepo4 building for my solar setup I figured why buy inferior lead-acids? Based on my current knowledge I am thinking about buying 48 25ah cells from battery hookup to make one 36v 100ah battery but am unsure how many amp bms I should be looking for, I’m guessing around 200-250 but this motor is a few decades old and I’m guessing pulls some real amps, just want to know if anyone has some experience doing this as well and could show me a little guidance.
