Hi

I am just setting up a new 8s 280pack.
It came with copper bus bars, enough for 2 per connection and good copper screws. I would like to add washers though.

Hard to find good copper washers, can i add stainless in the mix or should i only keep copper with copper?

Thanks

The buss bars must be in direct contact with the surface of the cell terminal. The screws do not matter in the conductivity except to hold the buss bar in contact with the cell. You can use washers, just not between the buss bar and the cell. I use flat washers with lock washer or flat washer with NyLoc nut. The material doesn't matter. Stainless is good.

Thanks for that.
