Trying to configure a Daly BMS with 100Ah 4S1P LiFePO4 cells.
After screwing around for a while I've gotten to the point where I can start changing settings within the BMS.

I've been using this resource to try and make sense of it all.

I've set the "Design Capacity" and "Full Charge Capacity to 100000mAh (100Ah)

I noticed a parameter "Device Chemistry" with a value of "LION" and was a little concerned that it should be set for LiFePO4 but I think it might just be a bad naming convention in the BMS/Software. I think the voltage being 3.65V at 100% confirms that it's fine for LiFePO4 but wanted to double check.

Some other values I thought about changing were:

1. Pack configuration - Not sure what this would achieve
2. Charge over current - Wanted to limit it to 50A (0.5C) or maybe even 30A (0.3C) for battery longevity. I'll put the same values in to the SCC too.
3. Discharge over current: Default is set at 150000mAh (150A) and I want to take it down to 50000mAh (50A) and maybe take it up to 100A later if I find 50A discharge isn't serving the demand. I noticed there is a Discharge over current #2 set at 200A - Why is there a second?
4. Are the default temperature cutoffs set way too high?
5. Should I dial back the cell voltage a little or is 3.65 fine?
6. What's the calibration section do?

Thanks a bunch!

If anyone's struggling getting their BMS up and running or getting the software to work, here's a couple of tips I wish I knew yesterday:

1. The bluetooth never worked for me
2. You might need a bit of software called "Sinowealth BMS" NOT "Daly BMS PC Software"
3. Make sure you have CH340 USB serial drivers installed
4. I think the NTC temperature sensor needs to be plugged in for the BMS to fire up
5. I think the BMS needs an incoming charge AND you need to temporarily short B- to P- for it to fire up
