I have a Discovery 48-42-6650 battery connected to my XW Pro 4868 system with the XW MPPT 80 600. Since last November, the battery has stopped charging to 100%. It was only about five months old at the time. Currently, it charges up to 98%, and then, despite full sunlight, the system starts drawing power from the battery for about 30 seconds before switching back to using the solar panels to run the house. However, the battery remains at 98%. I have to manually force the charger to bulk charge again in an attempt to reach 100%, but this often doesn't work.
Last year, a similar issue occurred around November while we were on a two-week vacation. The battery drained itself to about 45 volts and never recovered. With November approaching again, I'm concerned about the battery's current state at 98% and what might happen if this trend continues.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any suggestions on how to resolve this problem?
