Do I Need Automatic Transfer switch

Automatic transfer switch Finishing up Solar upgrade on 2022 Rockwood Roo 235S Now have 4 200 W panels on camper, (have room for 2 more panels, in future) 85 Victron Mppt controller, Battery Shutt, 2 LiTime 230Ah batteries. 1000W inverter. Generator as needed Boondocking 3-4 days at a time. No AC needed, Inverter probably little used Spent enough money, do i really need Automatice transfer switch? 2nd question: I Have Solar panels for roof of house, can i plug into side port of Roo? And instead of buying new controller for portable panel, use Go Power GP-PWM-30-UL controller that came with camper? Attached are panel specifications

Usually an auto transfer switch changes both the hot & neutral (so you don’t have a neutral ground bond issue).

In my MotorHome the auto transfer switch- is between the pedestal (grid) and the generator. That way there is no way they can run at the same time.

What are the sources you are trying to switch?
