Also when you parallel components they don't always share the load equally because of tiny differences in resistance between the current paths.
Sometimes the difference is significant.

I de-rate quality hardware by .8 and mystery meat by .66 to .5.
If it was a Daly I would de-rate by .66.
Very few things I would push to 100%.

I'm not disagreeing with you on the practice of not pushing things at 100%. I wouldn't either, hence my caveats in my third paragraph. You're not the only one de-rating the chinese hardware. I think Steve applies a 50% de-rate on all that stuff.

I'm running 4 x 12v batteries with 4 x 120A BMS and a 12v 2000 watt inverter. More is better. Looking forward to running the Bosch Dishwasher this summer. Now if the snow will just melt so we can get to the cabin and hook these juice boxes up.
