EG EHV 3000 stuck in parallel mode

I have the EG EHV 3000 Inverter and for some reason it is stuck in parallel mode, though I only have one inverter and it should be set to single phase. I cannot change this setting! Whether in the app or on the inverter itself, it will not change. I have turned off AC power and PV input, and it still is stuck. Help!!!!

Why is this the default setting!?!?! And why can't I change it? Any ideas? Very frustrating.

You have to put it in standby mode. AC output off - PV input either removed or switched off - and then turn off the inverter. You can change all the settings at that point. Including hertz and parallel. I'm just stuck now with only showing 240 VAC as output instead of 120 ...
