Well as I mentioned earlier in this thread I researched this back in 2020 and made the decision then, so I don't have any links on hand. Just the same I will be leaving things as they are for now as no issues were developed.

Utilization of SPDs for battery systems is still evolving it seems For now I am mainly bleeding off any undesired static or inducted voltages on my negative side of things, batteries and SPDs at the PV combiner boxes. CMEs from the sun and their effect on current solar installations remain to be seen.
