EG4 commutations hub/ battery addressing

I have 18 lifepower4 batteries and trying to get all 3 racks to talk with the communications hub. The manual says that the first 16 batteries would be addresses 1-16 and the second battery bank is 17-xxx. How exactly do I make the second bank addresses greater that 16? I tried just putting first 12 on bat1 input and the last 6 on bat2 starting address back at 1... but that doesn't work

You have to use the first 15 batteries on Bat1 RJ45 port. Then begin the next 3 batteries starting on ID:1 on Bat2 RJ45 port. These next 3 batteries should register now as pack ID: 17,18,19 on the com-hub. (ID:16 will be skipped since there is no actual ID:16 with these batteries.)
