EG4 hybrid mini-split Unknown connector

On the new 12k hybrid there is a connector zip tied to the signal cable hold down bracket. Here is a pic

Thats what I was thinking but no mention of it in the manual

Currently, this connection has no function. However, I will reach out to our engineering team about this.

External thermostat? Short it and see what happens? Don't do that. Saw the connector on mine and was curious.
