EG4-LL battery optimal charge rate ?

Another newbie question. What is the optimal charge rate for the EG4-LL ? I read some where it should be 30 - 40 amps.
Is lower better ? If charged over 40 amps will it decrease battery life. Thanks for any info !

You can really go up to 60Amps and be ok. Max is 100, but don't recommend that.

We charge the batteries in the office at 40A
