I reached out to Growatt on the best settings for ramp rate (Growatt 11400 MIN series inverter). It comes from the factory at 15 percent, but I changed mine to 40. Now I may change it back to 15. Here is their response, if you can understand it, your Chinglish is better than mine.

First of all about the Ramp rate, it is used to adjust the output convert from inverter to loads, higher rate leads to faster convert. But at the same time, the inverter carries out more workloads,so the losses in the machine will increase, that said we do not suggest putting over-high ramp rate if it is not necessary, just keep it as default. And the Restart gradient is to set the rate of power conversion when the machine is reconnected to the grid, suggest being default as well.

For the record, here is my original question:
Ramp rate:
1. I adjusted the ramp rate to 40%. I would like to go higher so the
inverter responds to load changes more quickly. Is there any drawback
to doing so? Why is it set so low by default (15%)?
2. What is the difference between loading gradient and restart gradient?
