EG4 Mini Spilt and Solar Generator Bluetti AC300

This should be a new category I think.

In Wills latest video the EG4 mini split looks nice! My Q is has anyone try running this on a solar power system like a Bluetti AC300 or other similar?

Or any mini split and one of these, Bluetti, Ecoflow, etc?

so the 12K eg4 mini split only uses 4.5 amps on 120 AC power, I am going to try it on my Delta 2 this week, I know that is not big enough to really do anything but it will be fun to see if it works. I can tell you that in the past I have used a Gree 12K mini split and it ran at about 7.5 amps 120V so I am very happy at the 4.5, and I will be adding the solar panels to run it during the day in our Florida heat

I am running my 12k EG4 mini-split on my AC300 with no issues. It uses the solar during the day while the AC300 charges up on solar, then at night the mini-split pulls from the AC300 via an extension cord. Totally working.

What are you seeing for draw of the unit when on AC max of 5-8amps?

The rated current for these units would be 8.1a for cooling and 8.26a for heating.
