EG4 wall mount and solar assistant

Has anyone had any luck getting solar assistant to work with the EG4 wall mount batteries?

SA does not currently have any cable interfaces to EG4 equipment though it’s possible you could pick a different protocol and make a custom RS485 cable. Try asking the folks at SA, they are pretty helpful.

Probably not much call for that, as closed-loop comms to an inverter means you can’t talk to the batteries with anything else. (Or does it?)

I am using inverter values for the batteries. Works fine if you're communicating to the batteries with the inverter.
