Hi ! Im new to this forum.

Right now im building a small camper van with a 315w solar panel, epever tracer 30a mppt with mt50 remote panel.
I set it to the gel parameter but when i look at the setup that is built in i think some numbers are a little high. What would be a good charging parameter for this kind of battery ?

Sorry if my english is not perfect im a french canadian.

Your gel battery should have the charging parameters on the case. If not, can you provide a link to the web page for it?

From that PDF, with initial charge current (ie when you start charging from flat) of 20 amps, absorption voltage should be 14.4V and float voltage should be 13.5V. Assuming that really is your battery, you can go higher on all the figures, no more than 50 amps, 15V and 13.8V but that's pushing things to the edge. Their float charging graph indicates 20 amps etc.

Quite different, max 60 amps, 14.4V, 13.6V. You can't really tell what something is by the shape of the box.

i know,im just trying to find the lower numbers between those to be on the safe side.

Thank you very much gnubie for your time :)
