I am looking to have power when the grid is Down. I have a grid tied system. I would like to use my panels to power Will’s budget Friendly Solar System so I can get power after an extended lost, like a Hurricane. (Yes, I live in Florida). I want to disconnect the panels and connect them to Will’s solution. I was thinking a DC switch with 3 positions.

Positions: 1) Grid Tied, 2) Off, 3) Budget Friendly system.

I have no clue what switch to get. I was looking at something like this.

I can add a battery to my current inverter, but I am told I have two “supported” choices. Powerwall or LG Chem. I am just not willing to pay that number.
As a final note, I will not be plugging anything back into the house panel. I am going to hire an electrician to create a critical load panel.

Thanks for any help.
