I always detest when I find threads of "I have this issue " and the OP never comes back with what fixed it.
The 6 panel array in series made everything operate properly. The inverter gets enough input voltage to start charging and I've seen in the 1700-1800 w realm of input in full sun. I think my dense fog "test" days with 6 panels was a bad benchmark.
