Growatt 6000 BMS to EG4-LL

Hi I am having issues with getting BMS between my Growatt 6000 and EG4-LL batteries. I have confirmed that the EG4-LL is communicating through the supplied com port cable. Now my question is can a straight through CAT5 cable work or is there a crossover happening between the two? I can not get this to work on either RS-485 or CAN. Thanks.

you will want to run a straight through cable from the RS485 port on the LL battery to the BMS port on the inverter.

If you happen to have the EG4 v2 batteries make sure that you set your protocol to Growatt
