Heated battery switch

Any reason to install a switch on heated batteries, or just leave it and let BMS manage turning the heater on and off as needed. My batteries are in the unheated front compartment, and while I don't expect to be in cold temps, this year especially has shown it can happen.

Assuming this is a drop in battery with heat.... best to review the instructions. Storage vs. in-use plugged in vs. in-use off-grid might be different.
For instance some may only heat when charging.

I'll have to review them again, gut IRC, it's 35F and the heater comes one. Batteries came with cable, switch and connectors to size the cable length. If they automatically shut off then why wire in a switch?
