All,

Good afternoon. I hope everyone is doing well during these challenging times. I'm trying to get a better understanding of what cable size and ANL fuse is recommended between a 2000w inverter and 12v 100ah AGM battery. The cable run between the two will be approximately 4'.

According to this video the recommended wire size for a 2000w inverter system should be 2awg or 0 awg.

According to this components link for a 2000w-4000w inverter system takes me to an Amazon listing to 4/0awg.

According to this link the recommended wire size for a 2000w inverter system should be 1/0awg.

According to this link the recommended wire size fora 2000w inverter system should be 2awg.

My shopping cart has the following components:
  1. RICH SOLAR 160 Watt 12 Volt Polycrystalline Solar Panel
  2. Universal Power Group 12V 100Ah Solar Wind AGM
  3. EPEVER MPPT Solar Charge Controller 30A 12V 24V Auto, Solar Charge Controller
  4. GoWISE Power PS1003 Pure SINE Wave Inverter 2000w Cont/4000w Peak
Thank you in advance for any guidance.

If you plan to max out the inverter all the time 2/0 copper. If you keep it around 1000 watts or less most of the time you can do with #2
