how can you make a DC Electric vehicle fast charger with LFP cells?

Ok yes this is a pie in the sky type post, but assuming you had 150 cells or so LFP like 280s how would one go about making a home made DC fast charger for EVs It would not have to be like 150 KW, but something like 20-50 KW would be great also.

I see people have made DC to AC and then Back to DC chargers but if we already have a DC supply why waste energy changing DC to AC and then back to DC to charge the packs.

Wouldn't it depend completely on the vehicle you want to charge? It would have to take a DC charge, then you would have to provide the correct voltage range. It would seem pretty straightforward after that.
