How do you make battery cables fit on battery terminals that are small?

Yikes!

Better check your putting the correct cables on the terminals
Positive is larger than negative in order to reduce the possibility of a polarity mix up

Lugs for cables come with various sized holes. 5/16" (8mm) & "3/8" (10mm) are the two most common.
One must remember that the "bolt" itself is NOT intended for power transfer. The contact pad on the Lug & Terminal face is where the power transfer is to occur.
It is Very Strongly recommended to use proper sizing for best results. In otherwords don't use a 3/8 Lug on a 5/16 Terminal.

there isn't a good answer to this one other than NO.

The correct answer is snip the end off and replace it with the right size.

There are a couple of less than ideal answers that will work, but only so long as your cross your heart and order the correct end/cable lug/premade cable that very day.

That's what I wanted to know. It's OK to replace the end to fit?

Wow, those are cool looking but expensive! $4 /piece
Cheap here in Asia but almost everything is
I never knew they existed. Thank you!
Are they all in mm or is their AWG as well?
Not sure I think they sell them in the US places like Walmart might stock them so I would guess they have a decent comparison chart if not awg specific sizes.
