I have 6 of these batteries that were assembled and tested on 1/23. They are currently at a 80% SOC. I probably wont have this system up and running for a at least 2 months, possibly longer depending on weather/snow.

I was wondering if I should somehow run them down to 20-30% SOC. and give them a fresh, full charge.

I have a homebuilt 12 volt 700wh power station using Headway LiFePo cells and know that thing can sit at least a year with 80% + still remaining with no ill effects.

Thoughts, opinions?

They will be fine as long as they are above 2.5v per cell.
80% is fine for several months. As long as there isn't any drain on them.(BMS)

Thanks Tim. Waiting on that cable to run the BMS test software to check cell conditions and possibly update the firmware for the 6000XP's. Might wait till system is running to update to preserve what charge they have.
