I'm hoping to add solar to my current systems. I currently have 2 separate systems for portable power.
Each system consists of:
2 - Marine grade AGM 12v batteries wired to a Pure Sine Inverter
I currently use an automotive trickle chargers to charge these systems when they are not in use.
I use the systems on weekends (mainly to power computers, a sound system, and small electronics for 4-8 hours).
I am planning to go more mobile which will require 6-10 days of consecutive use at a time (with possible Shore power availability at night).
I would like to build out a solar system similar to this one: https://www.mobile-solarpower.com/simplified-400-watt-fewer-wires-and-alternator-charging.html
The question that I have is:
Can I simply plug a normal automotive trickle charger into this system when shore power is available to "top-off" the system in the evenings?
I apologize if this question is simple or has been answered in the forum or one of Will's videos. I have searched both but cannot find the answer.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
