How to Test If Earthen is Working Properly

Hello,

I have done a couple of installations. and, I did a proper earthen for the setup. for some I even tested with a bulb by connecting one leg of the wire to the 'Life' line and the 'neutral' to the 'earth' point and the bulb came on of course..

But, then I was wondering if there is another way to measure the effectiveness of your earth grounding.

Please let me have all suggestions.. I will be doing a very big project soon.. about, 40kva setup and I want to be sure the earth grounding is very effective.

Earth isn't that effective; it is only about 20 ohms.
