It's not going to make a huge dent in your break even, but I've made about $700 per year for the past 2 or 3 years selling back to Ohm Connect. It's something you can sign up for if you are a PGE customer. My inverter is only capable of 6kW grid sell, you could probably double my money with a 12k inverter.
If you really could make double ($1400) that's only a handful of years to break even.
$1400 (ohm connect) + $200 (PGE) = $1600
$4,000/$1,600 = 2.5 years...
