In a Daly-style BMS setup, what are "strings", and what should "Balance current (A) be set for?

Hi:

My 24S pack is top balanced and assembled. The BMS does not have good instructions (I've watched videos and looked at numerous pdfs and I'm still not sure about a few things). I have two questions:

What is a string? I am thinking I have one string but can't verify that with the instructions.
What Balance current should I enter? It says "A" in the field but I don't think that is correct.

Bonus question: Do people set to charge to 100% or charge to less since it is LiFePo4?

A string is a string of battery cells connected pos to neg to pos to neg in series. Sort of like a string of xmas lights.

Lead Acid battery cells produce 2 volts. If you want a 12 volt battery, you have to "string" 6 of them together.
