In the Philippines

I am living in the Philippines and am planning to put together a solar power system for our home the electric rates here are high and the service is unreliable. The sun here is intense, as I live on a island there is often wind so it could be a good idea to add 500 watts or so of wind energy although I do not care for the noise they often make.
I have thought about a used Tesla battery or two? What do you think?
Is there anyone here living in Asia doing this I would love to talk with you about this and of course any well thought out ideas are appreciated. Thanks

G'day and welcome to the forum. Tesla batteries are very popular but you really need to know what you are doing with them if you want to play safely. I'm sure there's a Tesla expert or two here though that can point you in the right direction.
