Inverter/charger hookup

Hey all,
I am upgrading my batteries and am taking time to fix all the short comings of my current setup. No battery kill switch to inverter, shunt, etc. I am looking to change out my converter/charger for a inverter/charger so all my stuff will run while traveling. First, what is a great inverter/charger for lifepo4 batteries? My main question is location. Current battery location is under my steps and I have a storage space right next to it I can use for the increase of equipment. My problem is my batteries are roughly 20 feet from the converter. I may not have space for a large inverter/charger due to coach design so should I run the battery cables longer or the electrical panel conncection cables longer? My research says put everything as close as possible and its just not possible.

Run the 120/240 volt stuff long and the 12 volt stuff short.
Samlex Evo is a great inverter/charger.
Victron is also very well regarded here.

Excellent! Thanks Joey thats basically the way I was leaning. 120 with a longer run. I also like that Samlex. I have to read the dimensions as I think the victron might be to big for my storage areas.
