JBD-AP21S001 remote coms it has BT that works fine. RS485 socket is not on the PCB ? also has GPS socket is on the pcb just trying to find out if you can add JT socket will the RS485 work ?

Try to trace back from the RS485 connection area and see if there are some missing components that might include 3 and 4 pin surface mounting area's for surface mount devices like transistors and opto-isolators.
If they are populated you are in luck....one of my JBD without RS485 is missing those components.
The GPS socket should be standard TTL serial data.

Have solved my remote comm to JBD-AP21S001 bms with RS485 port not fitted on pcb but with blue tooth dongle with JBD UART to usb adaptor remover blue tooth plug and replace it with UART adaptor plug you can now read bms information remote to VRM Portal

now looking Y cable so that both thinks can be used


20/11/2022 to day bms started showing alarms ? so 24/11/22 not bms or its uart to usb inter face----- but diy usb to rs232 uart with ve direct and jst plug remover the diy plugs and use victron usb to ve direct working with out a hiccup
