Jk active balancer does it use jk bms app to be controlled.

EEL supplied me with 2 2amp active balancers they advertised as jk. But the jk bms app does not seem them during a scan. Is there a different app for them.

Does the BMS light up or make noise when you turn it on?

Mine came with an on-off button, press and hold, it will turn on, beep and a red led illuminates. Press and hold again and it turns off the bms.

But you have a seplos V3 BMS correct ?
That would imply the active balancer is also a seplos
If that is the case, there is no controlling it, the darn thing is always on ( in my v3 test rig anyway).
One of the reasons I want nothing to do with the v3
