Just a tiny lab, with a 8S 3.6(AH) 18650 Cells. Getting my feet wet before the EVE cells arrive.

Found an old thread from back in Q3 2022. Had the same symptoms, figured I must have had mine wired wrong. Didn't think so, everything was correct. Victron SmartShunt, clamp meter, all my lab gear all said it was right. Yet neither the JK-BMS-MONITOR nor the iOS app showed anything. Big fat zero.

Had my programmable DC load only pulling 0.5A's, I guess the BMS's shunt just doesn't have the resolution to pick up such a small draw. I knew if was far from accurate, it never agrees with anything that I know is balls accurate. Spec sheet makes no mention of it's capabilities, just says it has one

So I upped it to 1.0A and I saw something (-0.4), then 1.5 and it showed -1.1.

Lesson learned; don't trust the shunt in a JK-PB2A16S20P, at least not way down in this range.

Thanks for such a great community!
