I just bought 2 kepworth batteries (12v100ah lifepo4) from AliExpress site (more than 800€). One seems to work, but the capacity is wrong : i just connected a 12v55w car light, then wait following the voltage progression. 9 hours later, lower voltage recommended (12.8v) was reached. I expected 20h.
On the second one voltage was decreasing immediately.
No way to be refunded by vendor. No support by AliExpress site (dispute rejected). So I opened the battery to check what happens ...
I discovered at first that the battery contains polyurethane foam, i took a sample of foam and yes this foam it very inflammable. So it's probably very dangerous into a battery. Second point, I discovered that the BMS was broken. I should receive a new one soon and I hope it will solve the issue.
