I have a small setup in a shed that I use mainly for keeping a golf cart charged. It was my first setup and was a good learning tool. However the FLA batteries are showing their lack of attention and I'd like to replace them. I've seen a few posts about Li batts that are doped with Yterbium (How to spell?), mostly from Australia as they work fine not only in cold temps (down to -30?) but also high temps (up to 70c). Does anyone know of a source in the US?
I'm thinking this is a good opportunity for me to learn how to build my own battery. It's a 48v system.
