Hi all. I am looking for (ideally) 200W panels that are 48"-52" on the long end so they'll fit the roof of my Sprinter. I'd like to get 4 of them to make an 800W system. If I look at most of the panels out there, they're around 58" in length, which seems like they'll overhang a little too far. The mockup photo is the configuration I'd like. I have a Maxxair in front and a Velit 12V AC in the back. Right now I have a single lengthwise 400W panel in the front that's covering the Maxxair, which isn't ideal obviously.

I'm planning to fashion a mounting system with 80/20, although I haven't decided for sure. Would love to hear input Thank you!800w solar roof mockup.jpg

It looks like from my precursory research in the past 30 minutes, your best bet is to go with 150 watt panels which tend to be about 42-44 inches long.

I haven't seen a single 200 watt panel under 57.5".
I have a feeling that unless you somehow find a company that is producing solar panels out of the traditional rectangle shape, that you'll be out of luck.

Here is a 160W panel that is 46"
Newpowa 160W(Watt)

Here's a Newpowa 220W that's 56.7".
A bit over what you asked, but less than the usual 58-60")

Or this one claims to be 250w and only 54.75 inches

But yeah, if you need those exact dimensions it looks like the 180 watt panel that @Drunk Engineer posted is about the upper limit of watts you'll find under that size.

The 200W ones I found are bifacial and 10BB which seem as though they're preferable these days if my research is correct. But having 1000W on my roof sure is tempting...

Thanks, all. I looked around on Amazon and found these bifacial 200W panels that say they're 53.7 x30.3 x 1.4 in which should work. And a set of four is $659 which is respectable. https://a.co/d/czmJeR6
Hey, just to let you know it's cheaper to buy them in a single pack @169.99 -10% coupon.

That's $154 individually

Or that 4 pack is $164 each.

Those are a great deal though 👍😁

Edit-
Actually it looks like the 10% off is only for one item, but if you add four to the cart you get a "Buy 4 get 3% off" discount.

Which does still bring it down to $160.55 per panel.

DOUBLE EDIT-
Actually It looks like you could get away with creating four separate transactions and you would get the 10% off of each panel if you bought them individually.

They also have a two pack which is eligible for the 10% off as well and that'd lower the cose too.

Those JJN panels don't seem to have any UL or European safety certification, if that matters to you. It's a problem with a lot of the stuff sold on Amazon.

Thank you for sleuthing all of that!
