Losing solar in mid afternoon

I have Growatt SPF 6000T DVM and am noticing that my solar input current drops to zero some time in midafternoon when there is still plenty of sunlight. The inverter is operating on Solar/Battery/Utility and the battery is at 53V and 80% SOC with about a 1kw load at the time.
I am sure I have a setting wrong but not sure which setting might cause this behavior.

Any ideas?

What is the configuration of the panels, and what are the specs?
Any fault codes on the inverter?
It sounds like when peak sun hits, the panels overproduction and the inverter drops out...
