LV2424 has no “off” for solar or PV charging?

When I connected my unit (LV2424) to grid power it turns on and starts charging the batteries. Does the same thing with solar power. Is this correct? The switch on the side of the unit only turns on and off the inverter. Trying to see if there’s a way to keep the unit off while I connect the solar wiring.

Behavior is as designed. It's either in standby mode (switch off, where it will work as a charger if a source is connected) or ON, where it will charge and/or inverter.
