I made a series Cable for my 24 volt battery build. Fairly happy with the results. Tested good with a mulitmeter ohming it and then for a Open Circuit Voltage test and Short Circuit Voltage test:
Boy, there's a bunch of details going from a 12 volt trailer system to a 24 volt trailer system. One is the 100 watt panels put out about 18 volts, and 29 volts is the minimum I want for my MPPT controller, so had to put these in series.
I've got two systems I'll use these for. The first is a 24 volt trailer system upgrade. That will be done in a couple months by the end of October. The second is a homemade solar generator with 600 wh 24 volt, 25 AH battery. THe generator should be done in a couple of days on Monday.
Devil's in the detail for all these upgrades. So many sub projects like this cable to get both these projects finished off.
