I didn’t know where to post this so if in the wrong place just move it.

I live in a 2018 Skyline tiny manufactured home. It has an asphalt shingle roof that I would like to metal roof over. I have found products to deal with flashing the stove pipes and plumbing vents. I can’t find anything to deal with the square ceiling fan vents.

I watched some YouTube video where people just removed them and metal roofed over them. I don’t like this idea.

Oh yea the reason for all this work. One I live in a high fire risk area and like the idea of metal roof for fire control. Two I have no well and would like to harvest the little bit of rain water we get in the desert.

I would think that square openings would be dealt with same as the flashing for the round openings.
Either ya seal it to the roof, or you build diverters for the opening.

This is how I can deal with the round stuff. Ugly but will work.
