Hi everyone,
I've installed pretty much this exact system in my van, except it's even simpler because I have no inverter.
I used the same wiring arrangement.
The system is all connected, but I'm not confident it's working correctly. I can find very few examples online of people using a fuseboard like this.
- because I don't have an inverter, should I change the wiring route in some way from his example?
-Following the example, the controller to battery positive output is connected to a fuseboard position. Instead of the main fuseboard positive. Seems strange, I can only assume it's a way of putting a fuse inline. Any thoughts?
- When connected in sunshine yesterday, my controller shows 14.4V. The battery reads 14.4V.
When disconnected, the battery reads 0.4V. After 2 hours of the controller showing "boost". Battery still reads 0.4V
I thought the voltage would have increased. I'm wondering if something is wired wrong. Also the controller was showing the under load symbol. When no load was connected.
- Has anyone used a SOK battery with BSM? I've done some research and I think it's in storage mode, because the bluetooth management won't connect to give me data.
Thank you!
