MPP Solar LVX-6048 not charging from utility using timer

I have been running the LVX6048 for over a year now with a small solar array and the unit is connected to the grid (no generator). My goal when I bought the inverter was to time shift my energy so that I run off off solar and mostly battery (LFP) during the day and use the grid to top off the battery every night using the timer function.

So far I am not able to get this to work unless the battery drops below the back to grid voltage setting of 51V.

I have also been patiently waiting for solar assistant to release their new update to control battery charging timing, but they keep delaying it unfortunately.

Thanks for any advice you can offer to help steer me in the right direction to get the inverter to charge the battery every night.

Any luck with this? I've been thinking about doing something similar but not found an obvious way to achieve it. I see you have posted in another forum about using a timed relay to disconnect from grid.

What version of firmware are you on, 6306? I have not attempted to go back, but I believe that a previous version I had behaved differently in this area with setting #10. I want to say that if you had SNU selected, it would charge from grid while the inverter is on no matter the battery voltage. Then you could setup a schedule to only charge from grid in certain times.

I'm going to try some earlier versions to see if I just dreamt this up.
