I had forgotten that a temperature sensor was included with my Quattro. Now I have two.

There is a temperature sensor input on the Quattro and one on the Cerbo GX.

Does anyone know the system well enough to know if there is any disadvantage to using both inputs simultaneously? Particularly when I get another stack of 4 rack batteries. Or have one on the top of the rack and one on the lower battery.

Thanks

How would you be using the temp sensor to control the system?

My guess low temp charging protection only.

Yes. As far as I know that’s it. Though much of what goes on inside the Cerbo operating system is still being revealed to me.

In the Cerbo (in the DVCC) section you will tell the Cerbo which temp sensor input to pass along to all the attached devices.

I believe you can look at the temps on both sensors on the Cerbo and also on VRM. But you will need to pick one to pass along.
