Got my new 8s done & charging. 1st thing I see right off the bat is the cells are charging near equally compared to my 1st 8s that's totally a mess 'cuz I got stuck with grade b or c cells but it delivers the full capacity anyways. So now I have 680 a/hrs available on my 24v inverter or about 16 kw. I have the bms hot wired bypasing the protection which still gives me cell monitoring ability so I'll be adjusting the current/volts manually as needed & I'm topping it off in series this time rather than a parallel string to see how that works out. Here it is much the same build as my 1st.

OK, buy you could have built it with MUCH shorter (and less resistive) bus bars using an arrangement like this with adjacent cells "flipped" R/L in comparison to each other: 8S-side-by-side-with-shorter-bus-bars.jpg
