Maths:
117/18.3
6.39
100/23.7
4.21
4.21/6.39
.65

So the Piedmont gets about 65% of the sun we get here on a good day. Not bad, it doesn't get better than here. 40-odd KW should put you in fat city.

Do you really think cooling down the panels got you an extra 12%?

Actually, I mixed up the numbers.
It increased by 7%.
I expect at least 12%, if I were to cool all of the panels.

But I'm not sure what your math is saying.
And don't know what "the piedmont" is.

Maths: You say you hit 100 for the first time so I conclude you are maxing your output. You have significantly more panel KW (based on your sig) than I. Your panels are producing about 65% of the total output mine do in Phoenix per panel KW.

I think your technically west of the Piedmont, but I always think of the 'Piedmont' as that area that used to be served by 'Piedmont Airlines', Ohio and Pensylvania, south to Louisiana and Georgia. YMMV. Central US east of the Mississippi river, I grew up in that area. Blue Ridge mountains tend to goof with the weather in surrounding states. I think the air out west is more conducive to letting the sun thru. Probably a subject for a different thread.
